I’ve had some real defining thinking this past week in what I want to be doing and which direction to go from here. In the meantime, I’ve been busy trying to get ready for two events this week.
If you’re out and about on Friday night and want to see great work from local KC artists, then stop by 201 Wyandotte, KC, MO from 6-9 p.m. There is an exhibit called, “Public Hanging”, where members of the KC Artists Coalition will be showing one piece for one night. My piece is wired and ready for it’s public hanging!
On Sunday, I am excited to be doing a holiday bazaar with two other artists at a soon to be open restaurant called Kansas Town. It’s going to be a very class restaurant down on 39th Street. The owner
, Mike Bechtel, just happens to be my sons father. I’m excited for him and looking forward to doing a sneak peek opening with him. He has worked hard on making this dream come true. He is also an artist and will be sh
owing some work. Since the restaurant is not open quite yet, his chef will be offering up teaser tasters from the menu all day. Come by and try some unbelievably great food. It will also be a great place to get some early gift buying in for Christmas. I will have artwork, cards, and prints. The gorgeously talented artists Erin Paige Stegman, of Erin Paige Designs will also have her custom jewelry. (Come buy art from me so I can buy jewelry from her)!
