I’M A T.V. STAR! Ok, not really, but I did appear on a local Kansas City Show last week. I got the opportunity to do a live painting on KC Live. It was a great opportunity. I took up the challenge called Art Attack, where an artist creates a piece in 52 minutes. I was extremely nervous because I’ve never painted to a timeline before.
I was very happy with the painting and that I got it completed in my allotted time frame! I donated the piece to the Hope Lodge in Kansas City in honor of my step-dad. The Hope Lodge is a program through the American Cancer Society that offers free accommodation to cancer patients going through treatment who do not live close. They will be auctioning it off June 15th in their silent auction to raise funding. I’m also excited to be part of that event.
You can see an edited version of my appearance HERE. The video is broken into two small parts. Be sure to watch both parts!
