Day 17 Creative Challenge – Make something fun to wear
Sometimes it’s fun to be someone else. Little kids are masters at it. Always pretending to be someone else. Many of my evening hours are spent screaming for help while my 4 year old dressed up as Spiderman runs in to save me.
The other day he said, “Mommy, you could be Spider girl and I could be Spider boy. then we could be super hero partners”. I adore him for obvious reasons. Now I am on the hunt for a “my size” Spiderman costume.
This week I decided to make something fun to wear to an event I was going to. I tried my hand at a tutu. I found that once it was on, I was having ball just twirling and dancing around the house in it. It was as if it quite possibly invited part of my inner child to come out and play.
So my challenge is to go make something fun to wear. It can be something for your hair, a necklace with fun colors, paint your shoes, or even make a tutu. Invite a part of your personality that is often in hiding to come out and play.
